Yoga Studio Interior Design
Still Yoga Studio
Project Overview
This project was a full interior design concept for a boutique yoga studio, created to support a calm, welcoming, and purposeful atmosphere. The proposal included a complete layout for multiple studio rooms, a retail-forward reception space, a waiting and relaxation area, dressing rooms, lavatories, and locker storage. All FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications were included, allowing this to function as a turnkey interior design package for the studio owner.
Design Goals & Approach
The concept focused on creating an interior that reflected the heart of yoga practice: stillness, intention, and inner balance. Natural textures, warm earth-tone finishes, and soft lighting were selected to support grounding and mindfulness, while the layout emphasized ease of flow from arrival to practice. Every space—whether active or restorative—was designed to help students transition from the outside world into a quieter, more centered state.
Design Intent
The studio concept blends function and feeling—supporting both the business side of a yoga space and the emotional experience of students. From the first step inside, the goal was to create a sanctuary: a place where movement, breath, and atmosphere work together.
