East Asheville Kitchen Remodel

Giving this 80’s spec house a facelift was easily done by upgrading and updating drab finishes and lighting.

Tweaking the layout of the kitchen area, to create an open floor plan, was accomplished by removing a wall between the dining and kitchen area.

The original layout encompassed the kitchen, powder room and master bedroom entry, which was awkward from a privacy standpoint. A wall was added between the spaces creating a hallway on one side and a pantry area on the kitchen side.

The new layout provides open site lines into the dining and living room which allows for easy entertaining.

Shaker style cabinets painted Sherwin Williams Modern Gray keep the kitchen crisp without being sterile. Spectrum Quartz- Stellar, countertops, simple, glass pendants, and new flooring totally transform this kitchen.
