It’s time to get outside!  The weather has been perfect for hiking and biking in the mountains, but if you’re living in a part of the country that isn’t blessed with the best weather for outdoor activities, how about bringing a little Mother Nature inside?  Here are a few furniture and decor pieces that we found to help you bring a little of the outside, in.

These Nature inspired wall clocks from Asymmetree   are inspired by natural shapes like honeycomb, tree bark and coral.  They are laser cut and layered to create intricate designs.

Live edge wood, and stumps, that turn into tables add an earthy element to any space.  Live edge also adds an interesting element to a door.

These lamps by the design team Nervous System are inspired by the veins that carry water throughout a plant’s leaves.

Birds, flowers, and tree stumps inspire these light fixtures.

How about covering your walls in nature inspired themes?  These wallcoverings, by Wallpepper offer several options.

Don’t just cover the walls, cover your floors too.  Pebbles made of felt create a soft pathway inside your home and a simulated stream, printed on a rug adds some nature to your child’s room.

Sleep in your own tree house, and sit in your own nest……

A stone vessel sink in the bathroom adds another organic, design element.

Also consider stencils to add an earthy feeling.  Inspired by typical nature motifs found in traditional Talavera Tiles of Puebla, Mexico, Royal Design Studio Stencils offers these beautiful stencils to create the look of accent tiles for your kitchen or bathroom.

Bring in some driftwood and make your own nature inspired shelves.

A seat in any one of these pieces can make you feel a little like you are outside.

Nature is the best inspiration for everything, so seek it out whenever, and where ever you can.
